영어 유머-미시와 앵무새

앵무새가 인간의 말을 하는 것이 좀 신기하지요.

물론 인간도 동물의 언어를 하기도 합니다만.. ^^

A lady was walking down the street to work and saw a parrot on a perch in front of a pet store. 

The bird said to her， "Hey lady， you are really ugly." 

She was furious and stormed past the store. 

On the way home the same parrot said to her， "Hey lady， you are really ugly." 

She was so ticked that she went into the store and said that she would sue the store and kill the bird. 

The store owner apologized profusely and promised he would make sure the parrot didn't say it again. 

When the lady walked past the store the next morning the parrot called to her， "Hey lady." 

She paused and said，"Yes？" The bird said，"You know."

어느 미시가 출근길에 보니 애완동물 가게 앞 횃대에 앵무새 한 마리가 앉아있었다.

 

앵무새가 미시에게 말했다. 

"어이 아줌마，참 못생겼네~"

그 말에 화가 머리끝까지 치밀어오른 미시는 부리나케 그 집을 지나가버렸다. 

퇴근길에 다시 그 가게 앞을 걸어가는데 앵무새가 또 다시 중얼거렸다.

"아줌마, 참 못생겼어~"

화가 머리 끝까지 나버린 미시는 가게 안으로 뛰어들어가서는 그 가게를 고발하고 앵무새를 죽여버리겠다고 퍼부었다. 

그러자 가게 주인이 머리 조아려 사과하면서 다시는 그런 일이 없게 하겠다고 약속했다. 

이튿날 아침 미시가 그 가게 앞을 지나가는데 앵무새가 또 그녀를 불렀다. 

"아줌마!" 

미시가 걸음을 멈추었다.

"왜？" 

그러자 앵무새가 말하는 것이었다.

"잘 알면서~"

(ㅋㅋㅋ..
